This site is to help translators of Russian military material who are not military experts avoid translation pitfalls and common mistakes.

At present the site covers only ground forces: naval and air sections can be added at a later date subject to popular demand.

The site depends on feedback from users to identify further areas where help is needed to avoid problems, maintain consistency, and avoid confusing or misleading the end users of translated material.
